Calcite
$125 (Reserved)

LOCATION:
Huerfano Co., Colorado, USA
DESCRIPTION:
Rhombs of translucent Calcite to 15 mm, with satiny luster, richly cover this attractive specimen from a large concretion. The iron-stained matrix of dark-tan rounded Barite, in shades of red to yellow, provides nice contrast. It is in excellent condition, with only one small marginal bruise I can see with a 10x loupe. This very showy specimen was collected by Amanda Adkins (of Prospector's fame) on July 30, 2013.
SIZE: 95 x 64 x 33 mm overall (Large Cabinet)
COLLECTION: ex. Amanda Atkins specimen
Specimen Number: AA03
