Quartz and Epidote
$130

LOCATION:
Kimmeria, Xanthi Prefecture, Thraki Dept., Greece
DESCRIPTION:
A fine cluster of lustrous, green Quartz (var. Prase) crystals to 46 mm long, accented with lustrous green Epidote. The Quartz are included by a green mineral, possibly Actinolite. There is a sharp, lustrous, tabular Epidote measuring 7 x 7 x 5 mm, perched on the side of one of the Quartz crystals. According to my Greek source, this is a special locality specimen, as clusters of green quartz like this are extremely rare, especially in this size and condition.
