DESCRIPTION:
Sparkling-black, opaque microcrystals of Scrutinyite richly cover clear to white Quartz points to 5 mm across. There are only 3 broken Quartz points, which don't detract. Scrutinyite is a rare secondary lead oxide, and the Blanchard is the type locality. This is an excellent and very rich specimen.
