Cerussite (V-twin)

Tsumeb, Otjikoto Region (Oshikoto), Namibia

DESCRIPTION:

An incredibly glassy Cerussite “V-twin” crystal with a luster and brightness that is hard to photograph. The Cerussite is pristine, complete all around, and is sharply formed, with just a hint of a smoky phantom. Glassy Cerussites from Tsumeb are the exception, and this one of stunningly great quality with Ed Swoboda's original thumbnail mounting and label. It was held back by Ed for nearly 20 years, when I purchased it in the early 1990s for my personal collection.
