Manganoan Aragonite
$285
LOCATION:
Madem-Lakko Mine, Stratoni operations, Chalkidiki Prefecture, Macedonia Department, Greece
DESCRIPTION:
This aesthetic specimen is covered with light-pink complex crystals of manganoan Aragonite to 9 mm, which are covered with what seems like millions of sparkling faces. This specimen looks like a Madem-Lakko mine Rhodochrosite, but tests prove it is actually manganoan Aragonite. This is from the classic Greek locality which closed in 1974. No damage.
