DESCRIPTION:

This exceptional specimen consists of a cream-colored Barite ball to 68 mm across which hosts lustrous, etched purple Fluorites. At least 2 of the Fluorites are the rare torpedo-shaped etched corners Elmwood is famous for producing, with one measuring 44 x 29 mm. The reverse side of the specimen shows evidence of a cast. The Barite fluoresces reddish (LW) to yellow (SW), and the Fluorite has bright yellow internal spots under both LW and SW. This is ex. Lance T. Hampel collection, and is in excellent condition.
