DESCRIPTION:
Deep-red barrel-shaped Vanadinte crystals to 7 mm, accented by bladed, off-white Calcite, cover this matrix specimen. The Calcite fluoresces green under both LW and SW UV. Collected by Marty (along with Bill Hawes and Ed Andersen) in January 1985 at the base of the main decline, below the haulage level, before this pocket was destroyed by a fire. In excellent condition.
