Epidote

Maldin Koh, Ras Koh Mountains, Kharan District, Balochistan, Pakistan

DESCRIPTION:

A cluster of dark-green lustrous Epidote crystals, with the largest measuring 5.9 x 5.2 x 1.2 cm. There is a dusting of pale-green Chlorite which provides an nice accent. Several of the Epidotes are included with what is likely magnetite, given then a rough texture. This is an exceptionally large example from this find, and is in excellent condition.
