DESCRIPTION:
Numerous distinct salmon-pink rhombs of Rhodochrosite to 11 mm lie on a sulfide-rich matrix covered with sparkly white tiny Quartz points. Some Rhodochrosite rhombs are covered with drusy Quartz. This attractive old specimen dates to about the mid 1960s, when this collection was assembled. No obvious damage, but a few rhombs around the periphery may be cleaved.
