A single satiny brown prismatic Staurolite crystal, measuring 17 x 12 mm, and lustrous red-brown dodecahedral Almandine garnets to 7 mm are exposed on the surface of a schist matrix. This is an ex. David M. Crawford specimen, in excellent condition.
