Wulfenite
Stevenson-Bennett Mine, Organ District, Organ Mts., Dona Ana County, New Mexico, USA
Sold

Miniature
36 x 31 x 25 mm overall
Many blocky, tabular, lustrous, butterscotch to orange-yellow crystals of Wulfenite, to 5 mm across cover this specimen. These thick tabular crystals are reminiscent of those from Los Lamentos, Mexico. White Calcite provides a nice accent. There is damage only at the specimen's edge. This specimen from this now closed, classic American locality was collected in March 1991 by Tom Hales.
