DESCRIPTION:
This is a complex group of parallel to sub-parallel crystals of Stibnite to 57 mm, forming a nice and atypical 3-dimensional specimen from this famous Japanese locality. The Stibnite crystals are of classic form and gun-metal gray in color with a slight bluish iridescence Japanese Stibnites are known for. Collected circa 1879, it was previously in the Harvard University collection, and a Trafford-Flynn specimen. No damage.
