Paul Edwards Collection 2
We would like to introduce a selection from the Paul Edwards collection, which was largely assembled in the 1960s. It is strong in Mexico, Tsumeb and Colorado, as these localities were prominent at the time, and includes many other worldwide specimens. Mr Edwards was the brother of Ralph Edwards, a radio and TV pioneer, who was probably best know for creating TV shows like the Peoples Court, and Truth and Consequences. We have many specimens to catalog and get ready -- many are protected in large Perky boxes with Paul Edwards labels affixed. There is also a specimen from Oscar Roddes, one of the founders of the now defunct Los Angeles Mineralogical Society (the second oldest mineral society west of the Mississippi River).
