Velvety, bright-green needles of Malachite are nicely exposed in a series of open-veins within contrasting rusty limonitic matrix. Very rich and showy, this attractive old specimen is protected in a 53 x 53 x 38 mm plastic box, and dates to about the mid 1960s, when this collection was assembled.
