DESCRIPTION:
This sparkly specimen from the Ray Mine has many emerald-green Dioptase crystals on bubbly, greenish-blue Chrysocolla, all covered with clear little Quartz crystals. This is one of a small batch of Dioptase specimens collected in May 1992 by Pat, who was a shift boss at the Ray Mine. I acquired the entire lot a few days later. Very few of these drusy specimens were found. No damage.
