DESCRIPTION:
Sparkling, dark-emerald green crystals of Dioptase, up to 8 mm across, cover a thin goethite matrix. Very rich, and showy, with just marginal damage, this attractive old specimen is mounted in a 53 x 53 x 38 mm plastic box, and dates to about the mid 1960s, when this collection was assembled.
