DESCRIPTION:
Sharply-formed, iridescent purplish to brassy crystals of Chalcocite to 2.5 cm are interjoined to create a fine and aesthetic cluster. From the famous mid-1990s finds by Casey and Jane Jones at the Flambeau Mine, these Chalcocites have already become U.S. classics. The mine was closed in 1997, is now reclaimed and future collecting is impossible. From Casey Jones personal stash, it is in very good condition.
