Fluorite

DESCRIPTION:

Many cubes of classic blue Fluorite, to 10 mm, with purple corners and phantoms, sit on a matrix covered with fine points of white Quartz. Fluorites cover both sides of the specimen and have slightly different colors. In excellent condition, with just slight damage on the periphery, this is a very fine example from the Glory Hole (Portales) of this famous New Mexico mine. Weighs nearly 2 pounds (0.82kg). Collected in 2000.
