DESCRIPTION:

Translucent, lustrous, slightly-rounded cubes of deep-teal-blue Fluorite, measuring up to 28 x 24 x 24 mm, are nestled on light-colored matrix covered with sharp points of clear to slightly-rusty Quartz, to 5 mm across. The Fluorites display a distinct pattern on their faces, as either growth or exsolution surfaces, and the largest Fluorite has a well-defined octahedral modification displaying growth lines. In excellent condition, this is an outstanding display specimen from the lesser known Hickey #1 mine in the famous Hansonburg District.
