DESCRIPTION:

Lustrous, gemmy, chisel-shaped crystals of Barite to 28 x 16 x 7 mm with green inclusions of Malachite are nicely perched on dark contrasting matrix. Small balls of rich-green Malachite are sprinkled on the matrix and some of the Barites. These unusual Barites came out of the Shangulowe Mine in the mid 1990s, and quickly disappeared from the market. This is a particularly aesthetic specimen in excellent condition.
