Elbaite tourmaline

DESCRIPTION:

A very gemmy to slightly-translucent rich-green Elbaite tourmaline from Brazil. It is removed from matrix at the base, and is matrix influenced on the reverse. The top termination is wavy and complete. Very difficult for me to photograph. Ed Swoboda personally picked this high quality piece in the 1960s and held it for over 30 years, when I purchased it in the early 1990s. This superb, high quality specimen displays well, is in excellent condition, and the color is superb!
