DESCRIPTION:
A slightly-translucent to transparent pink Elbaite tourmaline from Brazil. The top termination is wavy and partly coated with clay. Very difficult for me to photograph. Ed Swoboda personally picked this piece in the 1960s and held it for over 30 years, when I purchased it in the early 1990s. This thumbnail displays well, and the color is richer than the photos.
