Cuprian Adamite

$285

LOCATION:

Lavrion District Mines, Lavrion (Laurium) District, Attikí (Attika) Prefecture, Greece

DESCRIPTION:

Deep-green lustrous spheres of Cuprian Adamite to 1 mm rest on crusts of a bluish-green mineral (possibly Glaukocerinite, according to my friend from Greece). Although not among the most aesthetic specimens the ancient Laurium mining district has produced, it is very large and is richly covered. This is a very good example of Cuprian Adamite from Greece. No damage.

SIZE: 155 x 95 x 31 mm (Large Cabinet)

Specimen Number:  GR127
