Rosenberg Mine, Bad Ems District, Braubach, Rheinland-Pfalz (Rhineland-Palatinate), Germany
DESCRIPTION:
A very fine old time German classic, this aesthetic group of interlocking medium-brown Pyromorphite crystals displays perfectly. It has an extensive provenance, starting with a very old label with a date 1894 (Grube Rosenberg, Bad Ems). It was in the collections of John H. Marshall, Robert Wenzel (specimen 102), and Dr. Gary Hansen, and has been in my collection for 17 years.
