DESCRIPTION:
This rare Nevada Axinite is an old Ed Over piece. It is a classic-shaped, doubly-terminated, purplish-brown crystal, up to 53 mm long, showing well-developed growth lines on its faces. Some minor edge chipping doesn't detract from this specimen, which is also from the old Earl Calvert collection that Rock Currier dispersed many years ago.
