Quartz with Calcite

DESCRIPTION:

Sharply terminated, clear Quartz crystals to 25 mm cover this specimen, and are complemented by small balls of white Calcite and sprays of white Calcite to 15 mm long, some forming nice bowties. This ex. Paul Edwards collection specimen from the circa 1960s is in good condition with a few broken Quartz crystals buried in the remaining Quartz such that they are not obvious. This is a nice old piece from a Colorado locality closed in 1978.
