DESCRIPTION:
Lustrous, opaque, rich-green, Hedenbergite-included Quartz crystals to 39 mm long are perched on a matrix covered with lustrous, cinnamon-colored Andradite garnets to 3 mm. These Quartz have the progressive widening towards the terminations this locality is known for, and some of the garnets are quite gemmy. This is an excellent specimen from the skarn deposits at Sinerechenskoe, and is damage free.
