Vanadinite

LOCATION:

Mibladen, near Midelt, Khenifra Province, Morocco

DESCRIPTION:

Sculptural cluster of lustrous translucent to opaque hexagonal crystals of blood-red Vanadinite, capped by a complex crystal measuring 1.8 cm across. Yellowish accents are present on some crystal edges. This larger specimen is in very good condition, and displays beautifully. In my personal collection since 1978. No damage.
