DESCRIPTION:
Bluish-grey cubes of Galena to 19 mm, some with a melted appearance, are perched on a solid covering of lustrous black tetrahedral Sphalerite to 8 mm. The matrix is an unusual and attractive mix of sulphides and carbonates forming distinct layers with fleshy-colored Ankerite rhombs to 6 mm with brassy Pyrite and irridescent brassy Chalcopyrite crystals. It is in excellent condition for such a large specimen from this classic Colorado locality.
