DESCRIPTION:
Lustrous, dark blue rosettes of Azurite crystals to 5 mm are perched on Quartz crystals to 12 mm in length on this matrix specimen. The Quartz crystals are coated with lavender, green and powder blue mineral crusts. Collected in the 1960s by George Burnham from this obscure Mexican locality, these only turn up occasionally. A very aesthetic specimen with no damage.
