DESCRIPTION:
A wonderfully-hoppered Vanadinite crystal measuring 14 x 12.5 x 9 mm, from the famous Old Yuma Mine, near Tucson. This highly-lustrous Vanadinite has fine fiery-red color with gemmy areas. Specimens of this quality came out in the 1960s and 1970s, and this mine has produced some of America's finest Vanadinites. Purchased on 12/04/1988 from Jean Hamel, it is expertly mounted and in perfect condition.
