Fluorite and Calcite

DESCRIPTION:

Sharp, gemmy, highly-lustrous purple cubes of Fluorite, to 10 mm on edge, with darker purple edges, are stacked in stalactitic form. Honey-colored scalenohedrons of Calcite to 3 mm richly cover the reverse of the specimen. These stalactites of Fluorite are one of the few novelties in Denver, were available from only a single dealer, and are from a one-time small find. The specimen is complete all around, displays well from all sides, and is in perfect condition. I was able to select three perfect specimens from the two-flat lot for this update, and this is an excellent example of this find.
