DESCRIPTION:
A nice matrix specimen of green Quartz crystals to 33 mm perched on fibrous Hedenbergite. From the “Broken-leg pocket,” which was found by Christos Spiromitros (Thessaloniki) in April, 2008, it is one of the better pieces collected from this difficult pocket, and has only a few broken crystals. The Quartz from this pocket is unusual for Serifos in that the crystals are translucent with an atypical color of green with a bluish cast.
