DESCRIPTION:
Lustrous, richly-colored brownish-pink crystal of Grossular garnet to 24 x 20 mm exposed on white matrix and accented with yellowish-green Vesuvianite. The garnet is incomplete on the back, has translucent edges, and is in good condition on the display side. Like all these specimens, this garnet was mechanically excavated without any repairs. Collected December of 1992 by Graham Sutton and Bob Griffis.
