Sierra de Cruces, Municipio de Sierra Mojada, Coahuila, Mexico

DESCRIPTION:

Sharp, lustrous, richly-colored purplish-pink crystal of Grossular garnet to 20 x 19 mm cover grey matrix. A group of smaller pink garnets provide additional contrast on the matrix. This specimen is way above average in color and presentation, and was collected December of 1992 by Graham Sutton and Bob Griffis.
