Sharp, sparkling colorless transparent bladed-crystals of Colemanite to 15 mm cover both sides of this plate. The Boron Open Pit is all but closed to collectors, so these specimens are becoming scarce. This specimen dates to about the mid 1960s, when this collection was assembled. No damage except around the periphery where it was removed.
