DESCRIPTION:
Cream-colored blades of Calcite, most forming rosettes to 8 mm in diameter, partly cover a thin plate of pale purple Amethyst crystals to 6 mm in diameter. The luster and color are very good, and the Calcite nicely contrasts with the underlying Amethyst. This fine old specimen dates to about the mid 1960s, when this collection was assembled. No damage.
