Sharp, lustrous points of Amethyst to 5 mm across, with a nice grape-jelly color, cover a whitish Barite matrix. I can find only 3 chipped crystals on the specimen. This is a nice specimen from an obscure New Mexico locality, and collected by Rob Sanders.
