with up to 7 mm Vanadinites

Fiery orange-red, barrel-shaped crystals of Vanadinite to 7 mm with well-developed apical terminations, are perched on sparkling jet-black matrix. The Vanadinite has good luster and distinct tapering of the larger crystals which narrows at the point of attachment. The smaller crystals are transparent and gemmy. This flashy specimen was collected in February 1992 by one of the company geologists at a surface cut at Tiger. No damage.
