Cerussite with Aurichalcite
Mammoth-St. Anthony Mine, Mammoth District, Tiger, Pinal County, Arizona, USA
74 x 67 x 50 mm overall
with up to 25 mm Cerussite
Glassy Cerussite crystals to 25 mm are interlocked in this specimen from the old Tiger mines in Arizona. The specimen is almost entirely Cerussite with an attractive burst of light blue-green Chrysocolla to provide more interest. Many of the crystals are contacted with parts of the wallrock intergrown and a few crystals are broken, but this doesn't affect the value of this nice old specimen. It is rare to find minerals from Tiger anymore, so we are pleased to be able to offer this specimen collected many years ago from the Mammoth-St. Anthony Mine which closed in 1954.
