Anatase

This aesthetic specimen host a perfect, sharp, well-formed, 16 x 8 x 8 mm, silvery-black Anatase crystal, with mirror-bright faces. This doubly-terminated Anatase is perfectly placed on a small bit of matrix accented by a druse of nearly colorless quartz crystals. The extremely high luster makes the Anatase very difficult for me to photograph, and it is much brighter than most of the photos. Collected by Torgeir Garmo before the early 1990s, this is a superb thumbnail with no damage.
