14 x 6 x 6 mm largest

Here's a classic suite of four lustrous, pristine, terminated Elbaite tourmalines from the famous Queen Mine in Pala, CA, showing the range of colors produced. There is (1) an Indicolite with classic blue color and modified pinacoid termination (12 x 6 x 5 mm); (2) a classic gemmy bi-color BLUE CAP with a flat termination (11 x 7 x 5 mm); (3) a classic *Pala Pink* with flat termination and yellowish cap (14 x 6 x 6 mm); and (4) a glassy yellowish tourmaline with modified pinacoid termination (12 x 6 x 5 mm). They all have good transparency, and are much gemmier in person than the photos captured. All were hand dug by Ed Swoboda (owner of the Queen Mine) himself in the 1970s.
