DESCRIPTION:
Lustrous, gemmy orange crystals of Spessartine garnet to 6 mm richly cover a base of off-white feldspar. A sharp, opaque, dark-smoky Quartz measuring 40 x 10 mm caps one side of the specimen and it is girdled with Spessartine around its base. This quality piece was brought back from China by Casey and Jane Jones in 2002. No damage. From Casey Jones personal stash, it is in very good condition.
