Brookite on Adularia and Quartz

DESCRIPTION:

Clear, glassy Albite crystals to 5 mm and doubly-terminated crystals of clear Quartz to 10 mm, richly coated with green Chlorite, cover three sides on a thin shard of granite matrix, and host tan-colored Brookite crystals to 8 mm. This is a fine old specimen with an original label from The Bradleys on 4639 Crenshaw Blvd., Los Angeles, CA (with $2 price) and is ex. Donald Boydston collection. The specimen dates from approximately 1948, and is in excellent condition.
