Anatase on Quartz

Sharp, doubly-terminated, dipyramidal crystals of dark Anatase to 7 mm are perched on a shard of recrystallized, glassy Quartz included with brownish clay(?). In excellent condition, with just a few microchips on the edges of the Anatase, this was collected by Ed Swoboda from a small prospect labeled Lavrinha by Ed, near Cuiaba. It was held back by Ed Swoboda for nearly 20 years. These pieces are very rare.
