Cavansite with Stilbite

32 x 24 x 24 mm overall

Lustrous and gemmy blades of neon-blue Cavansite forming spherical aggregates to 9 mm are perched on doubly-terminated, pearlescent, blades of white Stilbite, to 16 x 6 mm. The basalt matrix is covered by lustrous and glassy, small Stilbite crystals. The Cavansite is in perfect condition, and only marginal chipping of Stilbite is present at the specimen's edges.
