Cavansite with Stilbite

50 x 44 x 39 mm overall

Lustrous and gemmy blades of neon-blue Cavansite forming spherical aggregates to 11 mm are nestled amongst doubly-terminated, pearlescent, blades of white Stilbite to 14 x 7 mm. The other, more compact ball-like habit of Cavansite is also present on this specimen. The basalt matrix is covered by lustrous and glassy, small Stilbite crystals. The Cavansite is in perfect condition, and only marginal chipping of Stilbite is present at the specimen's edges.
