Manganoan Calcite

This is a fine double-terminated, lustrous, translucent, pink, twinned Calcite crystal measuring 16 x 15 x 15 mm, with mostly-opaque white phantom clearly visible both from the side and when looking down the termination. The appearance is somewhat reminiscent of the alien-eyed Erongo Fluorites. A well-terminated, barrel-shaped Calcite measuring 8 x 3 x 3 mm protrudes from the small amount of matrix at its base. I have only seen a few of these from Huanggang, but nothing recently. This is an excellent example with no damage.
