Fluorite

Sold

LOCATION:

near Red Cloud Mine, Silver District, Trigo Mts., La Paz County, Arizona, USA

DESCRIPTION:

Pale green cubes of Fluorite to 16 mm, some interpenetrating. Chris Lehmann in late 1991 discovered a small Fluorite seam about 0.5 miles north of the famous Red Cloud Mine. This is the only find of non-micro crystallized Fluorite from the Red Cloud area I have ever seen, and only a few pieces were recovered. Only trivial damge around the margin where it was removed. This was a difficult specimen to photograph, and looks better in person. A must for the Fluorite or Arizona collector.

SIZE: 45 x 36 x 27 mm overall (Miniature)
         up to 16 mm Fluorites

Specimen Number:  RG0435
