Fluorite
$400
LOCATION:
El Portezuelo, Sierra de Ascasti, Catamarca Province, Argentina
DESCRIPTION:
This is a quite large plate of sharp, intergrown cubes of Fluorite with yellow cores and purple edges. The largest Fluorite is 18 mm on edge. There is some damage only along the margins, but I see none otherwise. These came out of Argentina prior to 2003, from the same locality that produced Fluorites on Chalcedony. Plates of this size are uncommon, and this specimen is in perfect condition.
SIZE: 103 x 61 x 22 mm overall (Large Cabinet)
